The English Proficiency Exam, scheduled for September 8–10, 2026, will be held over two separate days at the Davutpaşa Campus of Yıldız Technical University.

September 8, IYS Session I:
The first session of the IYS is a multiple-choice exam covering reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills. The first session on September 8 will be held in the buildings of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Davutpaşa Campus. You can access the exam classroom lists via the link at the bottom of the page.

- Students taking the exam must bring their YTÜ student ID or student certificate (available via e-Government), a valid form of identification (Turkish ID card, passport, or driver’s license), a pencil, and an eraser.
- Students must be in their assigned classrooms at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
Details regarding the second session of the IYS, to be held on Thursday, September 10, will be announced on our website on Wednesday, September 9.
Students who have applied to the optional English Preparatory Program will not take the exam.
