Dear Students,
For students newly enrolled in Turkish-language programs as of the 2026–27 academic year, the English 1–2 Exemption Exam will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. at the School of Foreign Languages building. The exam rooms and student lists are provided in the attachment.
To be admitted to the exam, students must present both their YTU student ID (or a current, photo ID, and stamped student certificate obtained from the Office of Student Affairs) and one official form of identification (ID card, driver’s license, or passport). A student pass is not accepted as a valid form of identification.
The use of cell phones and/or smartwatches during the exam is strictly prohibited. Please ensure that your cell phones and watches are turned off until the end of the exam.
Students whose names do not appear on the list may take the exam by going to the exam room where students from their registered department are taking the exam and presenting either their student ID card or, if they do not have one, a printed copy of their official registration document.
