Office of Employee Orientation and Development

The mission of the Office of Faculty Orientation and Development is to provide orientation for newly hired instructors at YTÜ YDYO and to support development opportunities for faculty (and, ultimately, students) to enhance the quality of education, teaching, and learning activities. Additionally, promoting shared institutional values, working in coordination with other academic offices, and contributing to the learning and teaching environment within the institution are also part of this office’s mission. The Staff Orientation and Development Office’s blog page can be accessed via this link.

When a position becomes available in this office, an announcement is made to the entire YTÜ YDYO community to invite interested faculty members to apply. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in English Language Education from YTÜ YDYO and have at least two years of experience. Knowledge of the latest educational practices in English Language Education, an interest in educational technology, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred qualifications.
