Yıldız Technical University Has Become an Authorized Test Center for the Oxford Test of English
The Oxford Test Center, established within the School of Foreign Languages at Yıldız Technical University, has opened its doors.
The Oxford Test of English (OTE), whose equivalency is recognized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), will be administered at this center established within the School of Foreign Languages. With the center now operational, Yıldız Technical University aims to provide students and all test-takers with the opportunity to assess their language proficiency according to international standards, thereby contributing to its vision of quality and internationalization in higher education.
Based on current assessment and evaluation approaches, the Oxford Test of English is an internationally recognized exam that measures reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills. The exam is administered online via computer. Results for the reading and listening sections are released on the same day the exam is administered, while results for the writing and speaking sections are released within five days of the exam via the Oxford exam platform.
The first Oxford Test of English exam will be held on February 13, 2026, at the test center located within the School of Foreign Languages at the Davutpaşa Campus.
