Announcement Regarding the 2026–2027 Academic Year Placement Exam
The Placement Exam for students who will continue mandatory English preparatory instruction in the 2026–2027 academic year and for students applying to continue English preparatory instruction in their second year will be held will be held in person at the School of Foreign Languages on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The Placement Exam is administered to place students in the preparatory program and class appropriate for their English proficiency level. Participation in the exam is mandatory. Students will be placed in the appropriate preparatory program based on their exam results.
In accordance with a decision by the School of Foreign Languages Administrative Board, students who do not take the Placement Exam will not be placed in classes. Since attendance tracking begins once classes start, students who are not placed in a class due to not taking the exam will continue to accrue absences.
Students are required to answer the exam questions completely and accurately, based on their current and correct personal information.
Class lists for the Placement Exam will be announced on our website one day before the exam date.
