August 20, 2026 English Proficiency Exam for Transfer, Double Major, and Minor Students
For students currently enrolled in programs taught in Turkish who are applying to undergraduate programs taught 30% or 100% in English, the English Proficiency Exam will be held in person at the YDYO building between 10:00and 2:35 p.m., an in-person English Proficiency Exam will be held at the YDYO building.
The exam will be held in two sessions:
Session I: 10:00 a.m.–11:25 a.m.—Reading, grammar, and vocabulary questions (multiple choice)
Session II: From 1:00 PM to 2:35 PM—Writing and listening questions
Students taking the exam must present a valid form of identification (ID card, passport, or driver’s license) before entering the exam room. Public transportation (Akbil) cards will not be accepted as valid identification.
Students taking the exam must bring a pencil and an eraser.
Students taking the exam must be in the exam rooms by 9:45 a.m.
