The 2026–2027 academic year English preparatory course orientation program will be held as follows:
September 28–29, 2026 | YTÜ Orientation Days
Our English preparatory students will participate in the YTÜ Orientation Days program organized by our University.

September 30, 2026 | Placement Exam (DBS)
For students who will continue in the English preparatory program, the Placement Exam (DBS) will be held in person at the School of Foreign Languages on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Students must take the Placement Test in order to be placed in English preparatory programs and classes.
Students who do not take the Placement Test will not be placed in any preparatory program or class and will be considered absent starting from the first day of classes.
It is important that our students answer the exam questions in a way that accurately reflects their current English proficiency level.
October 1–2, 2026 | Classes
Classes for English preparatory students will begin on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and will continue according to the schedule on October 1–2, 2026.
We strongly urge our students to regularly check the School of Foreign Languages website for announcements regarding their class and course schedules.
